Note that individuals have the specified maximum number of cliff vesting years only if they start a job after the beginning of the year specified by this field.

Specifies the maximum number of years after plan eligibility when plan participants becomes vested. This parameter is for a cliff vesting schedule that is uniform over all cliff-vesting DC plans beginning in calendar year DCVEST.maxfcy_clf. Specifies maximum number of cliff vesting years allowed beginning in the calendar year specified by DCVEST.maxfcy_clf. Plans imputed to have fewer cliff vesting years are unaffected by this parameter. Plans imputed to have more cliff vesting years are assigned DCVEST.maxyrs_clf cliff vesting years.

Specifies first calendar year (fcy) when all graded-vesting DC plans have a maximum number of years for full vesting (see DCVEST.maxyrs_grd). Before this year plans have the variety of graded vesting schedules implied by the imputation model whose parameters are in the child tables). Note that individuals have the specified maximum number of graded vesting years only if they start a job after the beginning of the year specified by this field. Beginning in this calendar year, all DC plans with graded vesting schedules must accrue some vesting each year after eligibility and must reach full vesting by no more than DCVEST.maxyrs_grd years after eligibility. In years before this first calendar year, the plan's graded vesting schedule is is determined by the imputation model.

PENSIM: DCVEST . maxyrs_grd
Specifies maximum number of graded vesting years allowed beginning in the calendar year specified by DCVEST.maxfcy_grd. Plans imputed to have fewer years to full vesting are unaffected by this parameter. Plans imputed to have more years to full vesting are assigned DCVEST.maxyrs_grd graded vesting years with the first partial vesting occurring one year after plan eligibility. Note that a value of zero implies immediate vesting.
