Go to PENSIM input parameters overview
PENSIM: STCONT . id
Identifies DC/ST plan contribution-related parameters specified on this row of table, so id value should be unique.
Valid values: 1 to 999999999, Integer
PENSIM: STCONT . notes
Describes specification of table row in free-form note.
Valid values: any ASCII text, Memo (Note: do not copy and paste from a word processor because of the possibility of embedded non-ASCII characters.)
PENSIM: STCONT . sim_FERS
Specifies whether or not to simulate the federal-government FERS plan. The standard setting is true.
Valid values: T (=1) or F (=0) (for true or false), Logical
PENSIM: STCONT . solo_type
Specifies whether or not to replace the wide variety of DC/ST plans specified by the pension characteristics imputation model and replace the variety of plans with is single, solo DC/ST plan. Specifying a value of zero will allow the imputation of the full variety of plans. Specifying a value greater than one causes all sponsored DC/ST plans to be the same; the characteristics of the several solo DC/ST plans are hard-wired in the current version of PENSIM, and therefore, cannot be changed.
Valid values: 0 to 2, Integer
PENSIM: STCONT . solo_level
Specifies the value of employer matching rate in the solo DC/ST plan, with the matching rate expressed in percentage terms.
Valid values: any non-negative value, Real
PENSIM: STCONT . solo_param
Specifies the value of employer matching up-to rate in the solo DC/ST plan, with the up-to rate expressed in percentage terms.
Valid values: any non-negative value, Real
PENSIM: STCONT . ae_max_eec
Specifies whether or not automatic-enrollment procedures eliminate plan maximums on the employee contribution rate. Plan sponsors introduce automatic-enrollment procedures, in part, because they can avoid government anti-discrimination rules, making obsolete plan maximums on employee contributions. When this parameter is true, DC/ST plans with automatic-enrollment procedures are assumed to have no plan rules that limit the size of employee contributions. When this parameter is false, DC/ST plans (regardless of whether or not they have automatic-enrollment procedures) are assumed to have whatever plan rules that limit the size of employee contributions that are simulated as part of the pension characteristics imputation model that was estimated using data gathered before the introduction of automatic-enrollment procedures.
Valid values: T (=1) or F (=0) (for true or false), Logical
PENSIM: STCONT . steclt1_id
